GENERAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that I, {{principal_full_name}}, of {{principal_address}}, in the country of {{country}}, hereinafter referred to as “the Principal”, do hereby make, constitute and appoint {{agent_full_name}}, of {{agent_address}}, in the country of {{country}}, hereinafter referred to as “the Agent”, my true and lawful attorney-in-fact for me and in my name, place and stead, giving and granting unto my said attorney full power and authority to do and perform all and every act and thing whatsoever requisite and necessary to be done in and about the premises, as fully to all intents and purposes as I might or could do if personally present, with full power of substitution and revocation, hereby ratifying and confirming all that my said attorney, or his/her substitute, shall lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue hereof.

Grant of Authority

The Principal grants the Agent full power and authority to act on their behalf in all matters, including but not limited to:

1. Financial Matters: To open, maintain, or close bank accounts; to make deposits, withdrawals, or transfers; to endorse cheques; to negotiate and execute any financial instruments; to manage investments; to pay bills and debts; to borrow money and secure loans; and to file tax returns.

2. Property Matters: To buy, sell, lease, mortgage, or otherwise dispose of real estate or personal property; to collect rents; to maintain, repair, or improve property; and to enter into contracts relating to property.

3. Legal Matters: To institute, prosecute, defend, compromise, or abandon legal actions; to engage legal counsel; and to sign any legal documents or instruments.

4. Business Operations: To operate, manage, and conduct any business in which the Principal has an interest.

5. Healthcare and Personal Matters: To make decisions regarding the Principal’s healthcare, medical treatment, and personal care, including decisions about living arrangements, subject to any existing advanced directives or healthcare proxies.

6. Government Benefits: To apply for, receive, and manage government benefits or entitlements.

Duration of Authority

This Power of Attorney shall become effective on {{effective_date}} and shall remain in full force and effect until such time as it is revoked by the Principal or terminated by operation of law (e.g., the death or incapacity of the Principal).

Revocation

The Principal reserves the right to revoke this Power of Attorney at any time by providing written notice to the Agent. Such revocation shall be effective upon receipt of the written notice by the Agent.

Indemnification

The Principal agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Agent from any claims, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, incurred by the Agent in good faith exercise of the powers granted herein.

Governing Law

This Power of Attorney shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{country}}.

Severability

If any provision of this Power of Attorney is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
