Job Summary

The Accounting Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by performing a range of accounting and administrative tasks. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and software.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

2. Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.

3. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.

4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

5. Prepare and process payroll accurately and on schedule.

6. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

7. Manage petty cash and expense claims.

8. Perform data entry and maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.

9. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.

10. Respond to financial inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
