Job Summary

The Compensation and Benefits Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering fair and competitive compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures that programs are aligned with the company's overall strategy and legal requirements, attracting and retaining high-performing employees.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and manage competitive compensation packages, including salary structures, incentive programs, and bonus schemes.

2. Administer employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.

3. Conduct market research and salary surveys to ensure compensation and benefits are externally competitive and internally equitable.

4. Ensure compliance with all relevant compensation and benefits laws and regulations within the Southern African context (e.g., labour laws, tax regulations, social security contributions).

5. Develop and implement compensation policies and procedures.

6. Provide guidance and support to HR business partners and management on compensation and benefits related matters.

7. Prepare reports and analyses on compensation and benefits data.

8. Manage relationships with external vendors, brokers, and consultants.

9. Educate employees on compensation and benefits programs and options.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

2. Minimum of {{years_experience}} years of experience in compensation and benefits management, preferably within Southern Africa.

3. In-depth knowledge of Southern African labour laws and compensation regulations.

4. Proven experience in designing and implementing compensation and benefits programs.
