Job Summary:
The Director of Software Development will lead and manage the software development team, overseeing all aspects of the software development lifecycle from conception to deployment. The Director will be responsible for defining technical strategies, ensuring the quality of our software products, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high performance.
• Define and implement the software development strategy, roadmap, and best practices in alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products that meet user requirements and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
• Implement and maintain robust quality assurance processes to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating relevant advancements into our technology stack and development processes.
• Promote a culture of code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional growth of team members.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
