Job Summary

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing components of each dish on the menu, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery of food orders. This role requires adherence to food safety standards and efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.

Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment.

Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.

Ensure food preparation and storage areas are clean and hygienic.

Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper cooking methods are followed.

Assist in plate presentation and garnishing.

Manage food inventory and inform the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager of shortages.

Adhere to all food health and safety regulations.

Clean up workstations and kitchen area at the end of the shift.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications
