Job Summary

The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Greeting guests warmly and seating them appropriately.

Presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders accurately, and making recommendations when appropriate.

Relaying orders to the kitchen or bar and ensuring timely delivery to tables.

Serving food and beverages to guests, adhering to health and safety standards.

Checking on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.

Clearing tables, cleaning dining areas, and resetting tables for new guests.

Processing payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Assisting with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications and Skills
