Purpose of Chat Rooms

The purpose of company chat rooms and digital communication platforms is to facilitate efficient communication, collaboration, and information sharing among employees for business-related activities. These platforms are intended to enhance productivity and foster a professional working environment.

Acceptable Use and Conduct

Employees are expected to use company chat rooms responsibly and professionally. All communications must be respectful, courteous, and directly related to company business. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, the following:

a. Posting or sharing of inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory content.

b. Engaging in personal attacks, insults, or derogatory remarks.

c. Sharing confidential or proprietary company information without proper authorization.

d. Using copyrighted material without permission.

e. Engaging in any form of cyberbullying or harassment.

f. Dissemination of chain letters, spam, or unsolicited commercial messages.

Confidentiality

Employees must maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive company information accessed or discussed within chat rooms. This includes, but is not limited to, financial data, client information, strategic plans, and personnel details. Disclosure of confidential information to unauthorized individuals is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.

Monitoring and Privacy
