Purpose & Scope

Reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss or theft of confidential information by maintaining tidy workspaces and clear screens.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors and visitors in any {{company_name}} workspace, including home offices and hot-desks.

Requirements

  • Lock screens whenever leaving the desk
  • Store paper documents in locked drawers when not in use
  • Shred confidential documents that are no longer required
  • Clear desks fully at end of day
