1. Purpose

3.2. Training requests must be submitted to and approved by {{direct_manager_name}} and {{HR_department_name}} prior to enrolment.

3.3. The company will cover the cost of approved training, including course fees, examination fees, and reasonable travel and accommodation expenses as per the company's Travel and Expense Policy.

3.4. A Training Agreement (as per Appendix A) will be completed for any training exceeding a cost of {{reimbursement_threshold_amount}}.

4. Training Reimbursement Conditions

4.1. Employees who voluntarily resign, or whose employment is terminated for cause, within a specified period after completing company-sponsored training may be required to reimburse {{company_name}} for a portion of the training costs.

5. Exemptions

5.1. Reimbursement may be waived at the sole discretion of {{company_name}} in exceptional circumstances, such as redundancy through no fault of the employee, provided the employee has fulfilled all other obligations.

5.2. Mandatory training required by law or for basic job function, as determined by the company, is typically exempt from reimbursement clauses.

6. Training Agreement (Appendix A)

A separate Training Agreement will be signed by the employee and a company representative for all training falling under the reimbursement conditions. This agreement will detail:
