1. Introduction

This Transfer Policy sets forth the principles and procedures governing the internal transfer of employees within {{company_name}}. 3. Types of Transfers

b) **Employee-Initiated Transfer:** Requested by an employee for personal or career development reasons.

c) **Developmental Transfer:** For the purpose of providing an employee with diverse experience and training.

4. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for an internal transfer, employees must generally meet the following criteria:

b) Possess a satisfactory performance record, as evaluated in their most recent performance review.

c) Not be subject to any disciplinary action or performance improvement plans.

b) The request should clearly state the reasons for the transfer and the preferred department or role.

c) The immediate manager will review the request in consultation with HR and assess the operational impact.

d) HR will identify suitable vacancies and assess the employee's qualifications against the requirements of the target role.

e) Interviews or assessments may be conducted for the new role.

f) The final decision will be communicated to the employee within {{days_of_decision}} working days of the request.

6. Transfer Process (Company-Initiated)

a) When a company-initiated transfer is deemed necessary, the Human Resources department, in consultation with the relevant departmental heads, will identify suitable candidates.
