**Revision Date:** {{revision_date}}
This Zero Tolerance Policy unequivocally states the commitment of {{company_name}} to maintaining a safe, respectful, ethical, and productive work environment. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, visitors, and any other individuals interacting with {{company_name}} in any capacity, whether on company premises, at company-sponsored events, or during work-related activities outside of the workplace.
1. Policy Statement
{{company_name}} is committed to fostering a workplace free from harassment, discrimination, violence, and any other form of misconduct that creates a hostile environment or poses a threat to safety and dignity. We will not tolerate any behaviour that is illegal, unethical, or contrary to our company values. All reported violations will be investigated promptly and thoroughly, and appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment and legal prosecution, will be taken.
2. Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviours and actions are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disciplinary action under this Zero Tolerance Policy:
a. **Harassment:** Including, but not limited to, unwelcome conduct of a verbal, visual, or physical nature based on an individual's race, colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

c. **Violence and Threats:** Any act or threat of physical violence, intimidation, bullying, or aggressive behaviour.
d. **Theft and Fraud:** Misappropriation of company property, funds, or intellectual property; any act of deception for personal gain or company detriment.
e. **Substance Abuse:** Being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol during work hours, or possession of such substances on company premises, unless medically prescribed and disclosed.
f. **Unauthorised Weapons:** Possession of weapons of any kind on company premises or during work-related activities, unless explicitly authorised by law and company policy.
g. **Serious Breaches of Confidentiality:** Unauthorised disclosure of proprietary company information, trade secrets, or personal data.
h. **Serious Insubordination:** Refusal to follow reasonable and lawful directives from a supervisor or management in a persistent or defiant manner.

a. Their direct supervisor or manager.
b. The Human Resources Department at {{hr_contact_email}} or {{hr_contact_phone}}.
c. A designated Ethics Officer or confidential reporting hotline (if applicable).
All reports will be treated with confidentiality to the extent possible, consistent with effective investigation and corrective action. Retaliation against any employee who, in good faith, reports a violation or cooperates with an investigation is strictly prohibited and will itself be grounds for disciplinary action.
4. Investigation Procedures
Upon receipt of a report, {{company_name}} will initiate a prompt, thorough, and impartial investigation. The investigation will involve gathering relevant facts, interviewing parties involved, and reviewing any available evidence. All parties are expected to cooperate fully with any investigation.
The aim of the investigation is to determine the validity of the allegations and to gather sufficient information to make an informed decision regarding appropriate action.
5. Disciplinary Actions
Any employee found to be in violation of this Zero Tolerance Policy will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including immediate termination of employment, irrespective of length of service or position within the company. Other disciplinary actions may include, but are not limited to, formal warnings, suspension without pay, demotion, mandatory training, or legal action. The specific disciplinary action will depend on the severity and nature of the violation, as well as any prior disciplinary history. {{company_name}} reserves the right to involve law enforcement authorities where appropriate.
6. Training and Awareness
All employees will receive regular training on the provisions of this Zero Tolerance Policy, expectations regarding workplace conduct, and reporting procedures. This policy will be made readily accessible to all employees through the company's intranet, employee handbook, or designated communication channels.
