Coaching Agreement

This Coaching Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into on this {{date}} day of {{month}}, {{year}}, by and between:

{{coach_name}} of {{coach_company_name}} (hereinafter referred to as "the Coach"), having its principal place of business at {{coach_address}}.

AND

{{coachee_name}} (hereinafter referred to as "the Coachee"), an employee/individual residing at {{coachee_address}}.

Collectively referred to as "the Parties".

Purpose of Coaching

The primary purpose of this coaching engagement is to facilitate the Coachee's personal and professional development in areas mutually agreed upon by the Coach and Coachee. This may include, but is not limited to, enhancing leadership skills, improving communication, achieving career goals, and overcoming specific challenges. The Coachee acknowledges that coaching is not therapy or counselling and does not involve treatment of mental disorders.

Scope of Services

The Coach agrees to provide coaching services to the Coachee for a period commencing on {{start_date}} and concluding on {{end_date}}. The services will consist of:

- Sessions will be conducted via {{method_of_delivery}} (e.g., in-person, video conference, telephone) at mutually agreed times.

- Limited email or messaging support between sessions, as agreed upon by the Parties.

Confidentiality

All information shared by the Coachee during coaching sessions will be kept strictly confidential by the Coach, except as required by law (e.g., if there is a risk of harm to the Coachee or others) or with the Coachee's express written consent. The Coachee understands that the Coach may discuss general themes or best practices with supervisors or mentors for professional development, provided that the Coachee's identity and specific details are never disclosed.

Coachee's Responsibilities

The Coachee agrees to:

- Be punctual and prepared for all coaching sessions.

- Actively participate and engage in the coaching process.

- Complete any agreed-upon assignments or actions between sessions.

- Be open, honest, and committed to their own development.

- Provide timely feedback to the Coach regarding the effectiveness of the coaching.

Fees and Payment Terms

The total fee for the coaching services outlined in this Agreement is {{total_fee}} ({{currency}}). Payment shall be made as follows:

- A deposit of {{deposit_amount}} is due by {{deposit_due_date}}.

- The remaining balance of {{balance_amount}} is due by {{balance_due_date}}.

Cancellation and Termination

Either Party may reschedule a session with at least {{notice_period_for_rescheduling}} hours' notice. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in the session being forfeited or charged at the full rate. This Agreement may be terminated by either Party with {{notice_period_for_termination}} days' written notice.

In the event of termination by the Coachee, any outstanding fees for services rendered up to the termination date shall be immediately due and payable. In the event of termination by the Coach, any prepaid but unrendered services will be refunded to the Coachee.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{country_of_jurisdiction}}, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of {{city_of_jurisdiction}}.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, negotiations, and discussions, whether oral or written, between the Parties relating to the subject matter hereof. No amendment or modification of this Agreement shall be valid unless in writing and signed by both Parties.
