TEACHING CONTRACT

This Teaching Contract (hereinafter referred to as 'the Agreement') is made and entered into on this {{date}} day of {{month}}, {{year}}, by and between:

{{company_name}}, a company duly incorporated under the laws of {{country}}, with its principal place of business at {{company_address}} (hereinafter referred to as 'the Employer');

AND

{{employee_name}}, an adult individual with identification number {{employee_id_number}}, residing at {{employee_address}} (hereinafter referred to as 'the Employee').

The Employer and Employee shall collectively be referred to as 'the Parties'.

1. POSITION AND DUTIES

1.1 The Employer hereby employs the Employee in the position of {{position_title}}.

1.2 The Employee shall perform all duties and responsibilities as outlined in the attached Job Description (Annexure A), which may be updated from time to time by the Employer.

1.3 The Employee shall report to {{reporting_manager}}.

2. COMMENCEMENT AND DURATION

2.1 This Agreement shall commence on {{start_date}} and shall continue for a fixed term of {{duration_months}} months, ending on {{end_date}}, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.

2.1 This Agreement shall commence on {{start_date}} and shall continue indefinitely until terminated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.

3. REMUNERATION

3.1 The Employee shall be paid a gross monthly salary of {{currency}} {{salary_amount}} ({{salary_amount_words}}) payable on or before the {{payment_day}} day of each month.

3.2 The Employee shall be entitled to any allowances as set out in Annexure B.

4. WORKING HOURS

4.1 The normal working hours for the Employee shall be {{daily_hours}} hours per day, {{days_per_week}} days per week, from {{start_time}} to {{end_time}}, with a daily lunch break of {{lunch_break_minutes}} minutes.

4.2 The Employee may be required to work additional hours as reasonably necessary to fulfill job responsibilities, including extracurricular activities or school events.

5. LEAVE ENTITLEMENTS

5.1 The Employee shall be entitled to {{annual_leave_days}} days of paid annual leave per annum, to be taken at times mutually agreed upon by the Employer and Employee.

5.2 The Employee shall be entitled to {{sick_leave_days}} days of paid sick leave per annum, subject to the Employer's sick leave policy and submission of a medical certificate where required.

5.3 Other leave entitlements, including maternity leave, paternity leave, and family responsibility leave, shall be in accordance with relevant labour laws applicable in {{country}}.

6. CONFIDENTIALITY

6.1 The Employee acknowledges that in the course of their employment, they will have access to confidential information belonging to the Employer, including but not limited to student records, curricula, financial information, and teaching methodologies.

6.2 The Employee undertakes to keep all such confidential information strictly confidential and not to disclose it to any third party during or after the termination of their employment, without the prior written consent of the Employer.

7. TERMINATION

7.1 This Agreement may be terminated by either Party by giving {{notice_period_months}} months' written notice to the other Party.

7.2 The Employer may terminate this Agreement without notice in instances of gross misconduct by the Employee, as defined in relevant labour laws and the Employer's disciplinary code.

7.3 Upon termination, the Employee shall return all Employer property in their possession.

8. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

8.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{country}}.

8.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of {{country}}.
