Volunteer Agreement

This Volunteer Agreement (the 'Agreement') is made and entered into effective this {{date}} by and between:

{{company_name}}, a non-profit organization duly registered under the laws of {{country_of_registration}}, with its principal place of business at {{company_address}} (hereinafter referred to as the 'Organization'); and

{{volunteer_name}}, residing at {{volunteer_address}}, with identification number {{volunteer_id_number}} (hereinafter referred to as the 'Volunteer').

Purpose of Agreement

This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions under which the Volunteer will provide services to the Organization on a voluntary basis, without expectation of remuneration or benefits, in support of the Organization’s mission to {{organization_mission_statement}}.

Volunteer Position and Responsibilities

The Volunteer agrees to serve in the role of {{volunteer_role}}.

The Volunteer's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: {{list_of_responsibilities}}.

The Volunteer will report to {{supervisor_name}} ({{supervisor_title}}).

Term and Termination

This Agreement shall commence on {{start_date}} and shall continue until {{end_date}} or until terminated earlier by either party.

Either the Organization or the Volunteer may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by providing {{notice_period}} days' written notice to the other party.

No Remuneration or Benefits

The Volunteer acknowledges and agrees that their services are provided strictly on a voluntary basis. The Volunteer shall not receive any monetary compensation, employee benefits, or any other form of remuneration from the Organization for services rendered under this Agreement.

Confidentiality

During the course of their volunteering, the Volunteer may have access to confidential information belonging to the Organization, its beneficiaries, or partners. The Volunteer agrees to keep all such information strictly confidential and not to disclose it to any third party without the express written consent of the Organization.

Intellectual Property

The Volunteer agrees that any work product, including but not limited to documents, reports, designs, or creative works, developed by the Volunteer in the course of providing services to the Organization shall be the sole property of the Organization.

Indemnification and Release

The Volunteer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organization, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with the Volunteer's performance of services under this Agreement, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Organization.

The Volunteer acknowledges that participation in volunteer activities may involve certain risks and hereby releases the Organization from any and all claims for personal injury or property damage arising out of or in connection with their volunteer activities, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Organization.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{country_of_governing_law}}.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Organization and the Volunteer with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
