Attorney Agreement

This Attorney Agreement ('Agreement') is entered into on this {{day}} day of {{month}}, {{year}}, by and between:

{{client_name}}, with address at {{client_address}} (hereinafter referred to as 'Client'),

AND

{{attorney_firm_name}}, represented by {{attorney_name}}, with address at {{attorney_firm_address}} (hereinafter referred to as 'Attorney').

1. Engagement of Services

The Client hereby engages the Attorney to provide legal services pertaining to {{matter_description}}.

The scope of services shall include, but not be limited to: {{scope_of_services}}.

2. Commencement and Duration

This Agreement shall commence on {{start_date}} and shall continue until the matter described in Section 1 is concluded, or until terminated earlier as provided herein.

3. Fees and Billing

The Attorney's fees shall be calculated on an hourly basis at the rate of {{hourly_rate}} per hour, or a fixed fee of {{fixed_fee_amount}} for the entire matter.

In addition to the fees, the Client shall be responsible for all reasonable disbursements and expenses incurred by the Attorney on behalf of the Client, including but not limited to, court filing fees, expert witness fees, travel expenses, and photocopying costs.

The Attorney shall bill the Client on a {{billing_frequency}} basis, and invoices shall be payable within {{payment_due_days}} days of receipt.

4. Client's Responsibilities

The Client agrees to cooperate fully with the Attorney, provide all necessary information and documents in a timely manner, and promptly inform the Attorney of any changes in circumstances relevant to the matter.

5. Attorney's Responsibilities

The Attorney agrees to represent the Client diligently, ethically, and in accordance with all applicable laws and professional rules of conduct. The Attorney will keep the Client informed of the progress of the matter.

6. Confidentiality

The Attorney shall maintain the confidentiality of all information provided by the Client, subject to legal and ethical obligations to disclose.

7. Termination of Agreement

Either party may terminate this Agreement upon {{notice_period}} days' written notice to the other party. Upon termination, the Client shall be liable for all fees and expenses incurred up to the date of termination. If terminated by the Client, the Attorney will take reasonable steps to protect the Client's interests.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{governing_jurisdiction}}.
