GENERAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that I, {{principal_name}}, of {{principal_address}}, born on {{principal_dob}}, holder of National Identity Card/Passport Number {{principal_id_number}}, hereinafter referred to as the “Principal”, do hereby make, constitute and appoint {{agent_name}}, of {{agent_address}}, born on {{agent_dob}}, holder of National Identity Card/Passport Number {{agent_id_number}}, hereinafter referred to as the “Agent”, to be my true and lawful attorney-in-fact for me and in my name, place, and stead, giving and granting unto my said Attorney full power and authority to do and perform all and every act and thing whatsoever, requisite and necessary to be done in and about the premises, as fully to all intents and purposes as I myself might or could do if personally present, with full power of substitution and revocation, hereby ratifying and confirming all that my said Attorney or his substitute shall lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue hereof.

EFFECTIVE DATE AND DURATION

This Power of Attorney shall become effective on the {{effective_date}} and shall remain in full force and effect until {{termination_date}} OR until revoked by me in writing, whichever occurs first. This Power of Attorney shall not be affected by my disability or incapacity, except as otherwise provided by law.

POWERS GRANTED

1. **Financial Transactions:** To open, close, and manage bank accounts, including making deposits and withdrawals; to execute and endorse cheques and other financial instruments; to manage investments; to lease, sell, or mortgage real and personal property.

2. **Business Operations:** To engage in and conduct any lawful business of any nature or kind for me; to buy, sell, encumber, dispose of, and deal with any goods, wares, merchandise, or other property.

3. **Legal and Litigation Matters:** To institute, prosecute, defend, compromise, arbitrate, and settle legal actions, suits, or other proceedings; to appear in my name before any court, tribunal, or administrative body.

4. **Property Management:** To manage, lease, sell, convey, mortgage, or otherwise dispose of any real estate, personal property, or assets now owned or hereafter acquired by me, wherever located.

5. **Governmental and Tax Matters:** To deal with any government agency, including tax authorities; to prepare, sign, and file tax returns, claims for refunds, and other government documents.

6. **Healthcare Decisions (if applicable and permitted by local law):** To make decisions concerning my medical care, treatment, and hospitalization, in accordance with my expressed wishes, unless a separate healthcare power of attorney is in place.

7. **Personal Care:** To make decisions regarding my personal care, including living arrangements, nutrition, and companionship.

8. **Other Powers:** To do any other act, deed, or thing that I am entitled to do, and that my Agent deems necessary or desirable for my benefit.

LIMITATIONS ON AGENT'S AUTHORITY

This Power of Attorney does NOT authorize the Agent to:

1. Make gifts of my property, unless specifically empowered in writing by me.

2. Delegate the powers granted herein to another party without my express written consent.

3. Exercise any powers for the Agent's own benefit, except reasonable compensation and reimbursement of expenses as agreed upon in a separate written agreement.

4. Vote in any election on my behalf.

GOVERNING LAW

This Power of Attorney shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{country_name}}.

REVOCATION

I hereby revoke any and all Powers of Attorney previously executed by me, with the exception of specific powers of attorney relating to healthcare, if any, that are inconsistent with this Power of Attorney. This Power of Attorney may be revoked by me at any time by providing written notice to my Agent. Such revocation shall be effective upon receipt by the Agent.

INDEMNITY
