UNILATERAL LIABILITY RELEASE

This Unilateral Liability Release ("Release") is made and entered into on this {{day}} day of {{month}}, {{year}}, by and between:

RELEASOR: {{releasor_name}}, residing at/with principal place of business at {{releasor_address}}, (hereinafter "Releasor").

And

RELEASEE: {{releasee_name}}, residing at/with principal place of business at {{releasee_address}}, (hereinafter "Releasee").

BACKGROUND

The Releasor desires to release the Releasee from any and all claims, demands, obligations, or causes of action arising from {{event_description}} (hereinafter "the Event"), which occurred on or about {{event_date}} at {{event_location}}.

The Releasor understands and acknowledges the inherent risks associated with the Event and voluntarily chooses to participate/engage in the Event.

RELEASE AND WAIVER

In consideration of the Releasee allowing the Releasor to participate in/engage with the Event, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the Releasor hereby voluntarily, knowingly, and irrevocably releases, acquits, discharges, and forever holds harmless the Releasee, its officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns, from any and all claims, demands, obligations, liabilities, actions, causes of action, suits, debts, sums of money, accounts, reckonings, bonds, bills, covenants, contracts, controversies, agreements, promises, trespasses, damages, judgments, executions, claims and demands whatsoever, in law or in equity, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, actual or consequential, that have arisen or may arise from or in any way relate to the Event, including but not limited to, personal injury, death, property damage, or any other loss suffered by the Releasor as a result of or in connection with the Event.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

The Releasor understands and agrees that participation in the Event may involve risks of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses, which might result from Releasor's own actions or inactions, or the actions or inactions of others, the rules of the Event, or the condition of the premises or any equipment used. The Releasor voluntarily assumes all risks, known and unknown, associated with the Event, even if arising from the negligence of the Releasee or others, and assumes full responsibility for participation.

INDEMNIFICATION

The Releasor hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasee from any loss, liability, damage, or cost, including attorney's fees, that may incur due to the Releasor's participation in the Event, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasee or otherwise.

GOVERNING LAW

This Release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{jurisdiction}}.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Release is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed from this Release and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The Releasor acknowledges that they have read and fully understand the terms and conditions of this Release, and that they are signing this Release freely and voluntarily, without any coercion or undue influence. The Releasor has had the opportunity to seek independent legal advice before signing this Release.
