Job Summary

The Banquet Chef is responsible for overseeing all culinary operations related to banquet and event services. This includes menu planning, food preparation, supervision of banquet kitchen staff, inventory management, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and create innovative and high-quality banquet menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef and catering sales team.

Oversee all aspects of food production for banquet events, ensuring timely and efficient preparation and presentation.

Lead, train, and manage banquet kitchen staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.

Monitor food costs, manage inventory, and place orders for supplies to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies.

Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery during events.

Respond to guest feedback and address any food-related concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Banquet Chef or a similar culinary leadership role in a high-volume banquet setting (minimum {{years_experience}} years).
