Job Summary

The Food Preparation Worker is responsible for performing a variety of food preparation duties, including washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients. Key Responsibilities

3. Assist with basic cooking tasks such as grilling, frying, and sautéing, under supervision.

4. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and sanitised before, during, and after service.

5. Store food items correctly to prevent spoilage and maintain freshness, adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.

6. Monitor food temperatures and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

7. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking deliveries.

9. Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
