Job Summary
The Food Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant's daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and operational efficiency. This role involves managing staff, controlling costs, optimising profits, and maintaining a positive dining experience for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities
• **Operational Management:** Oversee daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
• **Staff Management:** Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and performance.
• **Customer Service:** Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met consistently, handling guest complaints effectively and professionally.
• **Financial Management:** Manage budgets, control inventory, monitor labour costs, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
• **Quality Control:** Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• **Menu Development:** Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu planning, pricing, and special promotions.
• **Inventory and Supply Chain:** Oversee procurement of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimising waste.
• **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
• **Marketing and Promotion:** Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
