Purpose

This policy defines the leave entitlements, application procedures, and approval rules applicable to all employees of {{company_name}}, in line with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.

Application Process

  1. Submit a leave application via the HR system at least the required notice period in advance
  2. Line manager reviews and approves or declines within 3 working days
  3. HR records the leave and updates the balance
  4. Employee receives confirmation

Carry-Over & Cash-Out

A maximum of 5 days annual leave may be carried over to the following year and must be taken by 31 March. Annual leave is not cashable except on termination of employment.
