Parties

This Catering Contract ("Agreement") is made and entered into effective as of {{date_of_agreement}}

Catering Services

The Caterer agrees to provide catering services for the Client's event as follows:

Menu Selection: {{menu_selection}} (A detailed menu is attached as Schedule A)

Service Style: {{service_style}} (e.g., buffet, plated, cocktail)

Staffing: The Caterer will provide {{number_of_staff}} staff members for the duration of the event.

Equipment: The Caterer will provide all necessary catering equipment including, but not limited to, serving dishes, cutlery, plates, and glassware, unless otherwise specified.

Payment Terms

Total Catering Fee: {{total_catering_fee}}

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of {{deposit_amount}} is due upon signing this Agreement.

Payment Schedule:

- {{percentage_first_payment}}% of the remaining balance is due by {{date_first_payment}}.

- The final balance of {{final_payment_amount}} is due by {{date_final_payment}}.

Late Payment: A late payment fee of {{late_payment_fee_percentage}}% per month will be applied to all overdue balances.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation by the Client, the following cancellation fees will apply:

- Cancellation {{days_before_event_full_refund}} days or more before the event: Full refund of payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

- Cancellation between {{days_before_event_partial_refund_start}} and {{days_before_event_partial_refund_end}} days before the event: {{percentage_cancellation_fee}}% of the total catering fee will be forfeited.

- Cancellation less than {{days_before_event_no_refund}} days before the event: {{percentage_no_refund}}% of the total catering fee will be forfeited.

Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to provide accurate guest numbers at least {{notice_period_guest_numbers}} days prior to the event.

The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or licenses required for the event venue.

The Client shall ensure that the venue is accessible and suitable for catering operations.

Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Caterer from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with the event, except for those caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Caterer.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{country_of_governing_law}}.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions, negotiations, and agreements, whether oral or written.
