General Responsibilities

All employees are responsible for observing these rules, cooperating with management on safety matters, and taking all reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions. Management is responsible for providing a safe workplace, necessary training, and ensuring compliance with these rules.

Hazard Identification and Reporting

Employees must report any unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices to their supervisor immediately. Do not attempt to resolve issues beyond your training or authority. Use the designated {{hazard_report_form_number}} for formal reporting.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times in designated areas. This includes, but is not limited to, safety helmets, safety shoes, eye protection, and gloves. Employees must ensure their PPE is in good condition and report any defects immediately. Refer to the specific PPE requirements for your department: {{department_ppe_guidelines_document}}.

Emergency Procedures

All employees must be familiar with emergency procedures, including evacuation routes, assembly points, and the location of emergency exits and first aid kits. In case of fire, follow the instructions of the designated fire marshals: {{fire_marshal_contact_list}}. For medical emergencies, contact {{emergency_medical_contact_number}}.

Housekeeping and Workspace Tidiness

Maintain a clean and orderly workstation. Keep aisles and exits clear of obstructions. Spills must be cleaned up immediately. Proper waste disposal procedures must be followed in accordance with {{waste_disposal_policy_document}}.

Use of Equipment and Machinery

Only authorized and trained personnel may operate machinery and equipment. Follow all operating instructions and safety warnings. Disconnect power before cleaning, adjusting, or repairing equipment, and apply lockout/tagout procedures as per {{lockout_tagout_policy_document}}.

Prohibited Acts

The following acts are strictly prohibited: horseplay, fighting, defacing company property, unauthorized use of company equipment, possession or consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs on company premises, and willful disregard of safety rules. Violation of these rules may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

First Aid and Incident Reporting

All injuries, no matter how minor, must be reported to a supervisor immediately. An incident report form ({{incident_report_form_number}}) must be completed as soon as possible after any incident. First aid kits are located at {{first_aid_kit_locations}}.
