AGREEMENT FOR WORK CHANGE

This Agreement for Work Change ('Agreement') is made and entered into on this {{day}} day of {{month}}, {{year}} ('Effective Date'), by and between:

{{company_name}}, a company duly registered under the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction, e.g., South Africa], with its principal place of business located at {{company_address}} (hereinafter referred to as the 'Employer');

AND

{{employee_name}}, an individual residing at {{employee_address}}, holding identification document number {{employee_id_number}} (hereinafter referred to as the 'Employee').

BACKGROUND

WHEREAS, the Employee is currently employed by the Employer under an employment contract dated {{original_contract_date}} (hereinafter referred to as the 'Original Contract');

WHEREAS, the Employer and Employee mutually desire to amend certain terms and conditions of the Original Contract to reflect changes in the Employee's role, responsibilities, compensation, or other employment terms;

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and promises contained herein and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows:

AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT TERMS

The parties hereby agree to amend the Original Contract as follows:

4.1. **Change in Role/Position:** The Employee's role/position shall change from {{old_position}} to {{new_position}}.

4.2. **Change in Responsibilities:** The Employee's updated responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to: {{new_responsibilities_list}} (Attach a revised job description as Schedule A).

4.3. **Change in Compensation:** The Employee's new gross monthly salary shall be {{new_salary_currency}} {{new_salary_amount}}, effective from {{compensation_effective_date}}. All other benefits as outlined in the Original Contract remain unchanged, unless explicitly stated otherwise herein.

CONTINUATION OF ORIGINAL CONTRACT

Except as expressly modified by this Agreement for Work Change, all other terms and conditions of the Original Contract shall remain in full force and effect and shall continue to govern the employment relationship between the Employer and the Employee.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ACCEPTANCE

The Employee acknowledges that they have read and understood the terms of this Agreement for Work Change and voluntarily agrees to all amendments specified herein. The Employee further acknowledges that these changes have been discussed and mutually agreed upon.

GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction, e.g., South Africa].

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement, together with the Original Contract, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior discussions, negotiations, and agreements, whether written or oral.
