Severance Payment

In consideration of the terms set forth in this Agreement, {{company_name}} agrees to pay {{employee_name}} a gross severance amount of {{severance_amount}} ({{severance_amount_words}}). This payment will be made on {{payment_date}}.

The severance pay is subject to all applicable taxes and withholdings.

Benefits Continuation

Health Insurance: {{employee_name}} will be eligible to continue health insurance coverage under COBRA (or equivalent local legislation) for a period of {{cobra_duration}} months, with {{company_name}} contributing {{company_health_contribution}} towards the monthly premiums.

Other Benefits: All other employee benefits, including but not limited to, retirement plans, stock options, and paid time off, will cease as of {{last_day_of_employment}}, unless otherwise specified by plan documents or applicable law.

Release of Claims

In exchange for the severance payment and benefits outlined in this Agreement, {{employee_name}} hereby waives and releases {{company_name}}, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and successors from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, known or unknown, arising from or related to {{employee_name}}'s employment with {{company_name}} or the termination of that employment, including but not limited to, claims under any employment discrimination laws, wrongful termination laws, or contract law. This release specifically excludes any vested rights under applicable law that cannot be waived by agreement.

Confidentiality

{{employee_name}} agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information of {{company_name}}, both during and after employment, and will not disclose such information to any third party.

Return of Company Property

On or before {{last_day_of_employment}}, {{employee_name}} agrees to return all company property, including but not limited to, laptops, mobile phones, keys, and documents.

Non-Disparagement

{{employee_name}} agrees not to disparage {{company_name}}, its officers, directors, employees, or products/services, in any manner whatsoever.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{jurisdiction}}.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between {{employee_name}} and {{company_name}} and supersedes all prior discussions, negotiations, and agreements, whether oral or written.

Acknowledgement and Signature

By signing below, {{employee_name}} acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions of this Severance Package Agreement, and have been advised to consult with an attorney prior to signing this Agreement.
