SEVERANCE PAY AGREEMENT

This Severance Pay Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into as of this {{date_of_agreement}} by and between {{company_name}} (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), with its principal place of business at {{company_address}}, and {{employee_name}} (hereinafter referred to as "the Employee"), residing at {{employee_address}}.

1. Termination of Employment

The Employee's employment with the Company shall be terminated effective {{termination_date}} ("Effective Date"). The Company and the Employee agree that this termination is on {{termination_reason}} grounds and is {{voluntary_or_involuntary}}.

2. Severance Payment

In consideration of the Employee's agreement to the terms and conditions set forth herein, the Company agrees to pay the Employee a gross severance amount of {{severance_amount}} ({{severance_amount_words}}) subject to applicable deductions for taxes and other statutory contributions. This payment shall be made on or before {{payment_date}} by way of {{payment_method}} to the Employee's nominated bank account, account number {{bank_account_number}}.

3. Accrued Leave and Other Benefits

The Company shall pay the Employee for any accrued but untaken leave days as of the Effective Date. The amount for accrued leave shall be {{accrued_leave_amount}}. All other employee benefits, including but not limited to health insurance and retirement contributions, shall cease on the Effective Date, except for any continuation as required by law or as expressly stated herein. {{Other_benefits_details}}.

4. Release of Claims

In consideration for the severance payment and other benefits provided herein, the Employee, on behalf of themselves and their heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns, hereby unconditionally and irrevocably releases and forever discharges the Company, its past and present officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, and affiliates, from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, obligations, damages, and liabilities of any kind whatsoever, whether known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, that the Employee ever had, now has, or may hereafter have against the Company arising out of or related to the Employee's employment with the Company or the cessation thereof, up to and including the date this Agreement is signed.

5. Confidentiality and Non-Disparagement

The Employee agrees to maintain the strict confidentiality of all proprietary or confidential information of the Company, including but not limited to trade secrets, customer lists, business strategies, and financial data. The Employee further agrees not to disparage the Company, its products, services, or employees, verbally or in writing, at any time now or in the future. The Company agrees that its authorized representatives will not disparage the Employee.

6. Return of Company Property

The Employee confirms that all Company property, including but not limited to laptops, mobile phones, keys, access cards, and documents (hard copy and electronic), has been returned to the Company on or before the Effective Date. The Company confirms receipt of the following items: {{list_of_returned_items}}. Any outstanding Company property must be returned by {{return_date}}.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{country_of_governance}}.

8. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, and negotiations, whether written or oral, between the parties. No modification, alteration, or amendment of this Agreement shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both parties.

9. Acknowledgment and Signature

The Employee acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to review this Agreement thoroughly, to consult with legal counsel of their choice, and understand its terms and conditions. The Employee further acknowledges that they are signing this Agreement voluntarily and without coercion.
