Legal Service Agreement
This Legal Service Agreement ('Agreement') is made and entered into on this {{day}} day of {{month}}, {{year}}, by and between:
1. {{client_name}}, with its principal place of business at {{client_address}} (hereinafter referred to as 'the Client'); and
2. {{law_firm_name}}, a legal practice duly registered and operating under the laws of [Jurisdiction, e.g., South Africa], with its principal place of business at {{law_firm_address}} (hereinafter referred to as 'the Attorney').
The Client and the Attorney are hereinafter collectively referred to as 'the Parties' and individually as 'Party'.
1. Scope of Services
1.1 The Attorney agrees to provide the following legal services to the Client: {{description_of_services}}.
1.2 The Attorney will exercise all due care, skill, and diligence in performing the services.
1.3 Any services outside the scope defined in 1.1 will be subject to a separate written agreement.
2. Fees and Disbursements
2.1 The Client agrees to pay the Attorney for services rendered at the hourly rate of {{hourly_rate}} or as per the agreed fixed fee of {{fixed_fee_amount}}.
2.2 Disbursements incurred by the Attorney on behalf of the Client (e.g., filing fees, courier costs, travel expenses) will be reimbursed by the Client upon presentation of valid invoices.
2.3 A deposit of {{deposit_amount}} is required upon signing this Agreement, which will be held in a trust account and applied against future invoices.

3. Client Responsibilities
3.1 The Client agrees to provide the Attorney with all necessary information, documents, and access required to perform the services in a timely manner.
3.2 The Client will promptly respond to requests for information and approvals.
3.3 The Client acknowledges that the Attorney's ability to provide effective services is dependent on the Client's full and accurate disclosure of all relevant facts and circumstances.
4. Confidentiality
4.1 Both Parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all information exchanged during the course of this Agreement, except as required by law.
4.2 The Attorney will take all reasonable steps to protect the Client's confidential information.
4.3 This obligation of confidentiality shall survive the termination of this Agreement.
5. Term and Termination
5.1 This Agreement shall commence on the date first written above and shall continue until the completion of the agreed services, unless terminated earlier.
5.2 Either Party may terminate this Agreement by giving {{notice_period}} days' written notice to the other Party.
5.3 Upon termination, the Client shall pay for all services rendered and disbursements incurred up to the date of termination.
6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

6.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall first be resolved through good faith negotiations between the Parties.
