1. Parties

This Retainer Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into as of {{date}} by and between:

Client: {{client_name}} of {{client_address}} (hereinafter "Client")

Attorney: {{attorney_name}} of {{firm_name}}, located at {{firm_address}} (hereinafter "Attorney")

2. Engagement of Services

The Client hereby engages the Attorney to provide legal services concerning {{scope_of_work_description}}. The Attorney agrees to provide competent and diligent legal representation within the scope of this engagement.

3. Scope of Services

The legal services to be provided by the Attorney under this Agreement include, but are not limited to: {{detailed_scope_of_services}}. Any services beyond this scope will require a separate written agreement or amendment to this Agreement.

4. Retainer Fee

The Client agrees to pay the Attorney a non-refundable retainer fee of {{currency}}{{retainer_amount}} upon the execution of this Agreement. This retainer fee will be held in a client trust account and will be applied against hourly fees and costs incurred in connection with the services provided. 6. Costs and Expenses

7. Client's Responsibilities

The Client agrees to cooperate fully with the Attorney, provide all necessary information and documents in a timely manner, and keep the Attorney informed of any changes in circumstances relevant to the legal matter. 8. Termination of Agreement

This Agreement may be terminated by either party upon {{notice_period}} days' written notice. Upon termination, the Client remains responsible for all fees and expenses incurred up to the date of termination.
