Vehicle Hire Agreement

This Vehicle Hire Agreement (the "Agreement") is made and entered into as of {{agreement_date}}, by and between:

{{company_name}}, a company duly incorporated under the laws of {{country}}, with its principal place of business at {{company_address}} (hereinafter referred to as the "Lessor"); and

{{hirer_name}}, an individual residing at {{hirer_address}} / a company duly incorporated under the laws of {{country}}, with its principal place of business at {{hirer_address}} (hereinafter referred to as the "Hirer").

Collectively referred to as the "Parties" and individually as "Party".

Vehicle Description

The Lessor hereby agrees to hire to the Hirer, and the Hirer agrees to hire from the Lessor, the following vehicle (hereinafter referred to as the "Vehicle"):

Term of Hire

The term of this Agreement shall commence on {{start_date}} at {{start_time}} and shall terminate on {{end_date}} at {{end_time}}, unless extended by mutual written agreement of both Parties.

The Hirer agrees to return the Vehicle to the Lessor at {{return_location}} on the termination date or earlier by arrangement.

Hire Charges and Payment

The Hirer shall pay the Lessor a hire charge of {{currency}} {{hire_amount_per_period}} per {{hire_period}} (e.g., day, week, month).

A deposit of {{currency}} {{deposit_amount}} shall be paid by the Hirer to the Lessor on or before the commencement of the hire period. This deposit is refundable upon the safe return of the Vehicle in its original condition, fair wear and tear excepted.

Any late payments shall incur interest at a rate of {{interest_rate}}% per annum, calculated daily.

Insurance

The Hirer agrees to abide by all terms and conditions of the insurance policy. The Hirer shall be responsible for any excess amount payable under the insurance policy in the event of an accident or damage.

The Hirer is advised to obtain personal effects insurance as the Lessor's insurance does not cover personal belongings.

Hirer's Obligations

The Hirer warrants that they possess a valid driver's license, {{driver_license_number}}, issued in {{country_of_issue}}.

The Hirer shall use the Vehicle in a careful, prudent, and lawful manner and shall not use it for any illegal purposes.

The Hirer shall be responsible for all fuel costs incurred during the hire period.

The Hirer shall not allow any unauthorized person to drive the Vehicle.

The Hirer shall promptly report any accident, theft, or damage to the Lessor and the police.

The Hirer shall return the Vehicle in a clean condition, fair wear and tear excepted. A cleaning fee of {{currency}} {{cleaning_fee}} may be charged if the Vehicle is returned excessively dirty.

Lessor's Obligations

The Lessor shall provide the Vehicle in good working order and in a roadworthy condition.

The Lessor shall ensure the Vehicle has a valid roadworthy certificate and all necessary permits for the hire period.

The Lessor shall be responsible for routine maintenance and servicing of the Vehicle, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Termination of Agreement

This Agreement may be terminated by either Party upon giving {{notice_period}} days' written notice to the other Party.

The Lessor may terminate this Agreement immediately if the Hirer breaches any of the terms and conditions outlined herein, particularly regarding payment or misuse of the Vehicle.

Upon termination, the Hirer shall immediately return the Vehicle to the Lessor.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{country}}.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of {{city}}, {{country}}.
