Coaching Agreement

This Coaching Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into on this {{date_of_agreement}} day of {{month_of_agreement}}, {{year_of_agreement}}, by and between:

1. {{coach_name}} (hereinafter referred to as "the Coach"), residing at {{coach_address}}.

2. {{client_name}} (hereinafter referred to as "the Client"), residing at {{client_address}} or representing {{client_company_name}}, located at {{client_company_address}}.

The Coach and the Client hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Purpose of Coaching

The purpose of the coaching relationship is to assist the Client in identifying and achieving their personal and/or professional goals. The Coach will provide guidance, support, and accountability to facilitate the Client's growth and development.

2. Scope of Services

The Coach agrees to provide coaching services to the Client as described in Schedule A (attached hereto and forming part of this Agreement). These services may include, but are not limited to, one-on-one coaching sessions, group coaching, workshops, and email support.

The duration of the coaching engagement shall be {{duration_of_engagement}} (e.g., three months, six sessions).

3. Coach's Responsibilities

The Coach agrees to:

a. Maintain confidentiality regarding all information shared by the Client, subject to legal and ethical obligations.

b. Provide a safe and supportive environment for the Client's growth.

c. Honour all scheduled appointments.

d. Use their best efforts to support the Client in achieving their stated goals.

4. Client's Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

a. Actively participate in the coaching process and be open to feedback.

b. Be honest and forthcoming with information relevant to the coaching goals.

c. Be punctual for all scheduled appointments.

d. Complete any agreed-upon assignments or actions between sessions.

5. Fees and Payment

The Client agrees to pay the Coach a fee of {{currency}} {{coaching_fee_amount}} per {{session/month/package}} for the coaching services.

Payment shall be made in advance/on the {{payment_due_day}} of each month/upon completion of each session (delete as applicable) via {{payment_method}} (e.g., EFT, bank transfer).

All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which shall be borne by the Client.

In the event of late payment, interest may be charged at a rate of {{interest_rate_percent}}% per month/annum.

6. Scheduling and Cancellations

Coaching sessions will be scheduled at mutually agreed-upon times and dates.

The Client must provide at least {{notice_period_hours}} hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of a session. Failure to do so may result in the session being forfeited or a cancellation fee of {{currency}} {{cancellation_fee_amount}} being charged.

The Coach reserves the right to reschedule sessions with reasonable notice.

7. Confidentiality

All information shared by the Client during coaching sessions will be treated with strict confidentiality by the Coach, except as required by law or where there is a clear and imminent danger to the Client or others.

The Client acknowledges that coaching is not a substitute for therapy or professional medical advice.

8. Termination of Agreement

This Agreement may be terminated by either party with {{notice_period_days}} days' written notice.

In the event of termination, any outstanding fees for services rendered shall be immediately due and payable.

The Coach may terminate the Agreement immediately if the Client engages in unlawful or unethical behaviour or if the coaching relationship is no longer productive.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{country_of_governance}}.
