EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
This Employment Contract (“Agreement”) is made and entered into on this {{day}} day of {{month}}, {{year}},
BETWEEN:
{{company_name}} (hereinafter referred to as “the Employer”), a company duly incorporated under the laws of [{{country}}], with its principal place of business at {{company_address}}.
AND

1. Commencement of Employment
The Employee's employment with the Employer shall commence on {{start_date}}.
2. Position and Duties
The Employee is hereby employed in the position of {{job_title}}. The Employee shall report to {{reporting_manager_name}} and shall perform such duties and responsibilities as are customarily associated with this position, and such other duties as may from time to time be reasonably assigned by the Employer. A detailed job description is attached hereto as Schedule A.
3. Remuneration
3.1. Basic Salary: The Employee’s basic monthly salary shall be {{currency}} {{basic_salary_amount}} ({{basic_salary_words}}) payable in arrears on the last working day of each month.
3.2. Benefits: The Employee shall be entitled to benefits including, but not limited to, {{medical_aid_scheme}} (Medical Aid) and {{provident_fund_scheme}} (Provident Fund/Pension Fund), details of which are outlined in the Company's benefit policy.
3.3. Deductions: The Employer is authorised to deduct from the Employee’s remuneration any amounts required by law (e.g., PAYE, UIF) or agreed to by the Employee in writing (e.g., loan repayments, benefit contributions).
4. Working Hours
The Employee's ordinary working hours shall be {{start_time}} to {{end_time}}, Monday to Friday. The Employee may be required to work reasonable overtime as necessitated by business needs, which shall be compensated in accordance with applicable labour laws.
5. Leave
The Employee shall be entitled to annual leave, sick leave, and other forms of leave as stipulated in the relevant labour legislation of [{{country}}] and the Employer's leave policy.
6. Confidentiality
The Employee agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary and confidential information of the Employer, both during and after the term of employment. This includes, but is not limited to, trade secrets, client lists, business strategies, and financial data.
7. Termination of Employment
7.1. Notice Period: Following the probationary period, either party may terminate this Agreement by giving {{notice_period_weeks}} weeks' written notice.
7.2. Summary Termination: The Employer reserves the right to terminate the Employee’s employment without notice in instances of gross misconduct or other serious breaches of this Agreement, as defined by applicable labour law.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
