This Musician Contract ("Contract") is entered into by and between:
{{company_name}}, a company duly incorporated under the laws of {{jurisdiction}}, with its principal place of business at {{company_address}} (hereinafter referred to as "the Company").
AND
{{musician_name}}, Identity/Passport Number: {{musician_id_number}}, residing at {{musician_address}} (hereinafter referred to as "the Musician").
Engagement Details
2.1 The Company hereby engages the Musician, and the Musician hereby agrees to be engaged by the Company, to provide musical performance services (hereinafter referred to as "the Services") under the terms and conditions set forth in this Contract.

Compensation
3.1 For the full and satisfactory performance of the Services, the Company shall pay the Musician a total fee of {{total_fee}} ({{total_fee_words}}) upon the following schedule:
a) {{upfront_payment_percentage}}% ({{upfront_payment_amount}}) upon signing of this Contract.
b) The remaining balance of {{balance_payment_amount}} upon completion of all agreed-upon performances.
3.2 Payment shall be made via {{payment_method}} to the Musician's designated bank account: Account Name: {{account_name}}, Account Number: {{account_number}}, Bank Name: {{bank_name}}, Branch Code: {{branch_code}}.
3.3 Any and all necessary travel, accommodation, and subsistence expenses incurred by the Musician in the course of providing the Services, if agreed upon in advance, shall be {{expense_agreement_details}}.
Musician's Responsibilities
4.1 The Musician shall perform the Services to a professional standard, adhering to the agreed-upon schedule and repertoire.
4.2 The Musician shall be solely responsible for their own instruments, equipment (unless otherwise specified in 2.7), and their transportation to and from the performance venue(s).
4.3 The Musician shall conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times while representing the Company or performing at Company events.
4.4 The Musician shall comply with all rules and regulations of the performance venue(s).
Company's Responsibilities
5.1 The Company shall provide a safe and suitable environment for the performance(s).
5.2 The Company shall provide any equipment specified in 2.7.
5.3 The Company shall make all payments as stipulated in Section 3 of this Contract.
5.4 The Company shall ensure that all necessary licenses and permits for the performance venue(s) are in place, where applicable.
Intellectual Property
6.1 All intellectual property rights in any original musical compositions, arrangements, or recordings created by the Musician prior to this engagement shall remain the sole property of the Musician.
6.2 For any new original compositions or arrangements created by the Musician specifically for and during the course of this engagement, the intellectual property rights shall be {{ip_ownership_agreement}}.
6.3 The Company is granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use recordings or visual media of the Musician's performance during this engagement for promotional purposes, provided such use does not imply endorsement beyond the scope of this Contract.
Termination
7.1 This Contract may be terminated by either party with {{notice_period}} days' written notice.
7.2 In the event of termination by the Company without cause, the Musician shall be paid for all Services rendered up to the date of termination.
7.3 In the event of termination by the Musician without cause, the Musician may be liable for any reasonable direct costs incurred by the Company as a result of the termination.
7.4 Either party may terminate this Contract immediately in the event of a material breach by the other party, provided written notice of such breach is given and the breaching party fails to remedy the breach within {{cure_period}} days.
Confidentiality
8.1 The Musician agrees to keep confidential all non-public information learned or accessed during the course of this engagement, including but not limited to, business plans, financial information, marketing strategies, and client lists of the Company.
8.2 This confidentiality obligation shall survive the termination of this Contract.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
9.1 This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{governing_law_jurisdiction}}.
9.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Contract, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the rules of {{arbitration_body}}.
Entire Agreement
10.1 This Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions, negotiations, and agreements, whether oral or written.
10.2 Any amendments to this Contract must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
