ENTERTAINMENT AGREEMENT

This Entertainment Agreement (the "Agreement") is made and entered into as of {{date}} (the "Effective Date") by and between:

1. ENGAGEMENT

The Client hereby engages the Entertainer, and the Entertainer hereby accepts such engagement, to provide entertainment services (the "Services") on the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.

2. COMPENSATION

In consideration for the Services rendered by the Entertainer, the Client agrees to pay the Entertainer the following compensation:

All fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which shall be borne by the Client, unless otherwise stipulated herein.

3. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ENTERTAINER

The Entertainer agrees to:

a) Provide the Services in a professional and timely manner, to the best of their skill and ability.

b) Provide all necessary equipment for the performance, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing (see Section 4).

c) Arrive at the venue at least {{arrival_time_before_performance}} prior to the scheduled performance time.

d) Adhere to all venue rules and regulations.

e) Conduct themselves professionally and not engage in any activity that could harm the reputation of the Client or the venue.

4. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CLIENT

The Client agrees to:

a) Provide a suitable and safe performance area for the Entertainer.

b) Provide access to power outlets and any agreed-upon sound or lighting equipment.

c) Ensure adequate security for the Entertainer and their equipment, if necessary.

d) Make timely payments as per the agreed-upon schedule.

e) Provide any necessary permits or licenses for the performance at the venue, if applicable.

5. CANCELLATION

In the event of cancellation:

a) By the Client: If the Client cancels the Agreement {{days_notice_client_cancellation}} days or less before the performance date, the Client shall forfeit the deposit and pay {{percentage_of_fee_client_cancellation}}% of the total fee as a cancellation fee.

b) By the Entertainer: If the Entertainer cancels the Agreement, they shall return any deposit received within {{days_to_return_deposit}} days. The Entertainer shall endeavour to find a suitable replacement, subject to the Client's approval.

c) Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, epidemics, or government regulations. In such an event, the parties shall negotiate in good faith to reschedule the performance or provide a refund.

6. INDEMNIFICATION

The Entertainer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Client from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to the Entertainer's performance of the Services, except to the extent caused by the negligence or willful misconduct of the Client.

7. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{jurisdiction}}.

8. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, and negotiations, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof. No modification or amendment to this Agreement shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both parties.
