SEVERANCE PACKAGE AGREEMENT

This Severance Package Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into this {{date}} by and between {{company_name}} (the "Company"), and {{employee_name}} (the "Employee").

1. Termination of Employment

The Employee's last day of employment with the Company will be {{last_day_of_employment}} ("Termination Date"). As of the Termination Date, the Employee will no longer be an employee of the Company and will cease to accrue any further benefits of employment, except as expressly provided in this Agreement.

2. Severance Payment

In exchange for the Employee's agreement to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, the Company agrees to pay the Employee a total gross severance amount of {{severance_amount}} ({{severance_amount_words}}), subject to applicable deductions and withholdings. This amount will be paid in {{number_of_payments}} installments, commencing on {{first_payment_date}} and continuing {{payment_frequency}} thereafter until fully paid. The severance payment is contingent upon the Employee's full compliance with the terms of this Agreement.

3. Benefits Continuation

The Employee's participation in the Company's group health insurance plan will cease on {{benefits_cessation_date}}. Subject to applicable law, the Employee may be eligible to continue health insurance coverage under COBRA (or similar local regulations) at their own expense. Information regarding COBRA (or similar) continuation rights will be provided separately. All other Company benefits, including but not limited to, life insurance, disability insurance, and retirement plan contributions, will cease as of the Termination Date, unless otherwise mandated by law.

4. Release of Claims

In consideration for the severance package provided herein, the Employee, on behalf of themselves and their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby unconditionally releases and forever discharges the Company, its past and present officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, and affiliated entities (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, suits, grievances, obligations, damages, and liabilities of any nature whatsoever, whether known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, that the Employee ever had, now has, or may have against the Released Parties arising from or relating to the Employee's employment with the Company or the termination of that employment, up to and including the date of executing this Agreement. This release includes, but is not limited to, claims arising under any federal, provincial, or local statutes, ordinances, or common law, such as wrongful dismissal, discrimination, harassment, and contract claims.

5. Confidentiality and Non-Disparagement

The Employee agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary or confidential information of the Company, including but not limited to trade secrets, customer lists, business plans, and financial information. The Employee further agrees not to disparage the Company or any of the Released Parties, orally or in writing, at any time now or in the future.

6. Return of Company Property

On or before the Termination Date, the Employee agrees to return to the Company all Company property, including but not limited to, keys, identification cards, laptops, mobile phones, documents, and any other materials belonging to the Company.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{applicable_jurisdiction}}, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

8. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Employee and the Company regarding the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements, understandings, negotiations, and discussions, whether oral or written, between the parties.

9. Employee Acknowledgment

The Employee acknowledges that they have been advised to consult with an attorney before signing this Agreement and has had sufficient opportunity to do so. The Employee further acknowledges that they have read and fully understand the terms of this Agreement and are signing it voluntarily and without coercion.
