INSURANCE AGREEMENT

This Insurance Agreement (hereinafter "the Agreement") is made and entered into on this {{day}} day of {{month}}, {{year}}, by and between:

Collectively referred to as "the Parties".

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 **Policy:** The written contract of insurance between the Insurer and the Insured, detailing the terms of coverage.

1.2 **Premium:** The amount payable by the Insured to the Insurer for the coverage provided under this Agreement.

1.3 **Claim:** A formal request by the Insured to the Insurer for payment under the terms of the Policy.

1.4 **Insured Event:** An event or occurrence covered by this Agreement that triggers the Insurer's obligation to pay.

2. COVERAGE

2.1 The Insurer agrees to provide insurance coverage to the Insured for (e.g., property damage, liability, health, vehicle breakdown) as specified in Appendix A (Policy Schedule) attached hereto.

2.2 The coverage shall commence on the Effective Date and shall continue for a period of {{policy_duration}} (e.g., twelve months), subject to renewal processes.

2.3 The maximum liability of the Insurer under this Agreement, in respect of any single Insured Event or in aggregate, shall not exceed the Sum Insured of {{currency}} {{sum_insured}} as detailed in Appendix A.

3. PREMIUMS

3.3 Failure to pay premiums by the due date may result in the suspension or termination of coverage under this Agreement, as per clause 7.

4. CLAIMS PROCEDURE

4.1 In the event of an Insured Event, the Insured shall notify the Insurer within {{notification_period}} days of its occurrence, providing all relevant details and supporting documentation.

4.2 The Insurer shall investigate the Claim and make a decision within {{investigation_period}} days of receiving all necessary documentation.

4.3 The Insurer reserves the right to request additional information or conduct further investigations as deemed necessary.

5. DUTIES OF THE INSURED

5.1 The Insured shall provide accurate and complete information to the Insurer at all times.

5.2 The Insured shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent loss or damage to the insured property/person.

5.3 The Insured shall cooperate fully with the Insurer during the claims investigation process.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

6.1 The Insurer's liability shall be limited to the Sum Insured as stated in Appendix A.

6.2 The Insurer shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from an Insured Event.

7. TERMINATION

7.1 This Agreement may be terminated by either Party by giving {{notice_period}} days' written notice to the other Party.

7.2 The Insurer may terminate this Agreement immediately in the event of fraud or material misrepresentation by the Insured.

7.3 Upon termination, any unearned premium shall be refunded to the Insured on a pro-rata basis, subject to applicable cancellation fees.

8. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

8.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{country_of_governance}}.

8.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall first be resolved through good faith negotiations between the Parties.
