Job Summary

The Driver Sales Worker is responsible for delivering products to customers, collecting payments, and actively selling additional products or promotions during delivery routes. This role combines driving, sales, and customer service to ensure efficient product distribution and revenue generation within a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities

**Product Delivery:** Safely and efficiently deliver products to designated customers according to established routes and schedules. Verify order accuracy before and after delivery.

**Sales and Merchandising:** Proactively identify sales opportunities, introduce new products, promote special offers, and secure additional sales from existing customers during delivery visits. Ensure products are well-displayed and rotated where applicable.

**Customer Service:** Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Address customer inquiries, resolve minor issues, and provide excellent service to enhance customer satisfaction.

**Payment Collection:** Collect cash or cheques for deliveries made, issue receipts, and reconcile daily sales and collections accurately.

**Vehicle Maintenance:** Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle. Report any mechanical issues or damage promptly to the supervisor.

**Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate records of deliveries, sales, collections, and mileage. Complete all required daily reports and documentation.

**Compliance:** Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies regarding vehicle operation and product handling.

Qualifications and Requirements

**Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent (relevant sales or logistics certifications are a plus).
