Job Summary

The Maid and Housekeeping Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment for our clients/premises. This includes performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Performing general cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and polishing surfaces.

Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.

Cleaning and sanitizing kitchens, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.

Emptying trash receptacles and ensuring proper disposal of waste.

Replenishing supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities.

Making beds and changing linens.

Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Handling cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately.

Assisting with deep cleaning tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience as a maid, housekeeper, or similar role.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to tasks.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical stamina and ability to handle strenuous tasks.

Ability to read and follow instructions.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in a hotel, residential, or commercial cleaning environment is an advantage.

Working Conditions

This role may require working flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

The environment may involve exposure to various cleaning agents and varying temperatures.
