Job Summary
The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing department in its daily administrative tasks and contribute to the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns. This role is ideal for a proactive individual looking to grow their career in marketing within a dynamic SME environment in Southern Africa.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies.
Conduct market research and analyse consumer behaviour.
Support the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
Manage and update company databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Assist with social media scheduling and community engagement.
Help organise marketing events and promotional activities.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams as required.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
