Job Summary

The Payroll and Timekeeping Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining employee timekeeping records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

- Process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and bonuses.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee time and attendance records using the designated timekeeping system (e.g., {{timekeeping_system_name}}).

- Verify and reconcile timesheets with employee schedules and resolve any discrepancies with supervisors.

- Calculate and process statutory deductions such as PAYE, UIF, and SDL, ensuring compliance with SARS regulations.
