Job Summary
The Product Design Director will be responsible for leading and overseeing the entire product design lifecycle, from conceptualisation to execution. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong design sensibility, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to foster a culture of innovation within the design team. The Director will work closely with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver user-centric and market-leading products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive product design strategy that aligns with the company's overall vision and business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented product designers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality design output.
Oversee all stages of the design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and visual design.
Collaborate with product management to define product roadmaps and features, ensuring a cohesive and compelling user experience.
Partner with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation.
Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Champion user-centred design principles throughout the organisation.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to inform design strategy.
Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.

Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering impactful product designs.
