Job Summary

The Recreation Worker is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading recreational activities for program participants. This role focuses on promoting physical, mental, and social well-being through engaging and safe recreational programs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a variety of recreational programs appropriate for the target population, considering age, ability, and interests.

Lead and supervise participants during activities, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and rules.

Assess participant needs and adapt programs to meet individual and group requirements.

Prepare and maintain equipment and facilities used for recreational activities.

Document participant attendance, progress, and any incidents or concerns.

Collaborate with other staff members and external partners to enhance program offerings.

Maintain accurate records and reports related to program activities.

Qualifications
