Job Summary
The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and company assets. This role involves patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and equipment, and access control. The Security Guard will act as a visible deterrent to crime and infractions of company rules, and will respond to emergencies as required.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of designated premises, both internal and external, to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
Monitor and operate surveillance equipment (CCTV) to identify any suspicious activities or security breaches.
Control access to the premises, verifying identification of all persons and vehicles entering and exiting, and maintaining accurate visitor logs.
Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations (e.g., medical emergencies, fires) in accordance with established procedures.
Write daily reports of irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and safety.
Provide assistance to employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
Conduct investigations into security incidents and prepare detailed reports.
Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a similar role, preferably {{years_of_experience}} years.
