Job Summary

The Surveillance Officer is responsible for monitoring all activities within the designated premises through CCTV and other surveillance equipment to ensure the safety and security of employees, customers, and company assets. This role involves identifying and reporting suspicious behavior, security breaches, and emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect and prevent theft, vandalism, and other illicit activities.

Conduct regular patrols of the premises, if required, to ensure all areas are secure.

Identify and report suspicious activities, unauthorized access, or potential security threats immediately to the Security Manager.

Document and meticulously record all incidents, observations, and actions taken in a detailed and accurate manner.

Assist in investigations of security incidents by providing relevant surveillance footage and reports.

Respond to alarms and emergency situations in accordance with established procedures.

Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information and surveillance data.

Ensure all surveillance equipment is operational and report any malfunctions promptly.

Collaborate with other security personnel and law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; a relevant security certification is advantageous.

Proven experience as a Surveillance Officer or in a similar security role, preferably within a corporate or retail environment for a minimum of {{years_experience}} years.

Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance technology.

Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
