Job Summary:
The System Administrator (Windows Specialist) is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of all hardware, software, and related infrastructure within the company’s Windows-based environment. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022).
Manage and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services.
Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange Server or Office 365 environments.
Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Implement and manage system backups and recovery procedures.
Ensure system security through regular patch management, antivirus updates, and access controls.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on Windows-related issues.
Develop and maintain system documentation, policies, and procedures.
Participate in the planning and implementation of new IT projects and system upgrades.
Manage virtualisation platforms, primarily Hyper-V or VMware.
Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Proven experience as a System Administrator focusing on Windows Server environments.
Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPNs, Firewalls).
Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell.
Experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) is an advantage.
Familiarity with ITIL framework is a plus.

Working Conditions:
