RENTAL AGREEMENT

This Rental Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) is made and entered into on this {{day}} day of {{month}}, {{year}}, by and between:

Landlord: {{landlord_name}}, residing at {{landlord_address}} (hereinafter referred to as the “Landlord”).

Tenant: {{tenant_name}}, residing at {{tenant_address}} (hereinafter referred to as the “Tenant”).

1. PROPERTY DETAILS

The Landlord hereby agrees to rent to the Tenant, and the Tenant agrees to rent from the Landlord, the property located at {{property_address}} (hereinafter referred to as the “Property”).

2. TERM OF AGREEMENT

The term of this Agreement shall commence on {{start_date}} and shall continue for a period of {{term_in_months}} months, ending on {{end_date}}.

3. RENT

The Tenant shall pay to the Landlord a monthly rent of {{rent_amount}} ({{rent_amount_words}}) on the {{due_date_of_month}} day of each calendar month, in advance, without deduction or set-off.

Payments shall be made via {{payment_method}} to {{payment_details}}.

A late payment fee of {{late_fee_amount}} shall be levied for any rent not received by the Landlord within {{grace_period_days}} days of the due date.

4. DEPOSIT

The Tenant shall pay a security deposit of {{security_deposit_amount}} ({{security_deposit_amount_words}}) to the Landlord upon signing this Agreement.

This deposit shall be held by the Landlord as security for the Tenant’s performance of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

The deposit, less any deductions for damages or unpaid rent, shall be returned to the Tenant within {{deposit_return_days}} days after the termination of this Agreement and the Tenant vacating the Property.

5. UTILITIES AND MAINTENANCE

The Tenant shall be responsible for the payment of all utility charges, including but not limited to, electricity, water, and refuse removal.

6. USE OF PROPERTY

The Property shall be used solely for {{intended_use_of_property}} and for no other purpose.

The Tenant shall not sublet or assign this Agreement or any part thereof without the prior written consent of the Landlord.

The Tenant shall not make any alterations or additions to the Property without the prior written consent of the Landlord.

7. TERMINATION

In the event of a breach of any term or condition of this Agreement by either party, the non-breaching party may terminate this Agreement immediately upon written notice to the breaching party.

8. GOVERNING LAW
