Core Principles of Work Ethic
All employees are expected to uphold the following core principles:
1. **Responsibility and Accountability:** Taking ownership of tasks, meeting deadlines, and accepting responsibility for outcomes, both positive and negative.
2. **Diligence and Productivity:** Consistently applying effort, focusing on tasks, and striving for high-quality output in all duties.
3. **Reliability and Punctuality:** Being dependable in attendance, adhering to schedules, and completing assigned work within stipulated timeframes.
4. **Initiative and Proactiveness:** Seeking opportunities to contribute, identifying potential improvements, and taking action without constant prompting.
5. **Integrity and Honesty:** Conducting oneself with honesty, transparency, and ethical behaviour in all business dealings and interactions.
6. **Collaboration and Teamwork:** Working effectively with colleagues, supporting team goals, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
7. **Continuous Improvement:** Being open to feedback, seeking to develop new skills, and adapting to changing work requirements and technologies.
Attendance and Punctuality
Employees are expected to arrive on time for work and all scheduled meetings. Consistent tardiness or absenteeism without valid justification and prior notification will be addressed in accordance with our Human Resources policies. Employees must follow the established procedure for reporting absences or delays.
Task Management and Deadlines
All employees are responsible for managing their workload effectively, prioritising tasks, and meeting agreed-upon deadlines. If a deadline cannot be met, employees are required to communicate this proactively to their supervisor, along with a revised timeline and proposed solutions.
Quality of Work
A high standard of quality is expected in all work produced. Employees should strive for accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail. Work should be reviewed before submission to minimise errors and ensure it meets the required specifications.
Professional Conduct
Employees are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times, demonstrating respect towards colleagues, clients, and management. This includes respectful communication, appropriate attire, and adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Use of Company Resources
Company resources, including time, equipment, and information, are to be used efficiently and solely for business purposes. Personal use of company resources should be minimised and must not interfere with work responsibilities or company operations.
Performance Review and Feedback
Adherence to these work ethic principles will be considered during performance reviews. Employees are encouraged to seek feedback from their supervisors and colleagues to identify areas for improvement and personal development.
