Job Summary:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business, using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. They will engage with business leaders and users to understand how data-driven changes to process, products, services, software and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective strategies for data collection and analysis.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure technical feasibility and optimal solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of business processes and systems.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather and validate requirements.
- Provide support to project managers in project planning and execution.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and training to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Visio).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
