Job Summary

The Computer Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing computer hardware and software systems. This role involves providing technical support to staff, running diagnostic tests, and ensuring the efficient operation of all IT equipment to support business activities.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.

Respond to IT support requests, troubleshoot system and network problems, and diagnose and solve hardware/software faults.

Provide technical support to users across the organisation, either in person or remotely.

Repair and replace damaged IT equipment and components as needed.

Perform regular checks and preventative maintenance on IT systems to ensure optimal performance.

Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.

Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:
