Job Summary
The Elementary School Teacher is responsible for providing a comprehensive and engaging educational experience for primary school students. This includes developing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum and school standards.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and differentiated instruction to meet individual learning needs.
Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that promotes active learning, creativity, and critical thinking.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and developmental milestones.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide programs and initiatives.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students under their supervision.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (e.g., Early Childhood Education, Primary Education).
Valid teaching license/certification from {{issuing_authority}}.
Proven experience as an Elementary School Teacher is preferred.
