Parties to the Agreement

This Lease Extension Agreement is made and entered into on this {{day}} day of {{month}}, {{year}},

BETWEEN:

{{landlord_name}} (Identity/Registration No. {{landlord_id_number}}) of {{landlord_address}} (hereinafter referred to as "the Landlord")

AND

{{tenant_name}} (Identity/Registration No. {{tenant_id_number}}) of {{tenant_address}} (hereinafter referred to as "the Tenant")

Recitals

WHEREAS, the Landlord and Tenant entered into a Lease Agreement dated {{original_lease_start_date}} (the "Original Lease") for properties located at {{property_address}} (the "Premises"); and

WHEREAS, the Original Lease is set to expire on {{original_lease_end_date}}; and

WHEREAS, the Landlord and Tenant mutually desire to extend the term of the Original Lease under the terms and conditions set forth herein.

Extension of Lease Term

The Landlord and Tenant hereby agree to extend the term of the Original Lease for an additional period commencing on {{extension_start_date}} and terminating on {{extension_end_date}}.

Rent and Payment Terms

During the extended term, the Tenant shall pay to the Landlord monthly rent in the amount of {{new_monthly_rent_amount}} ({{new_monthly_rent_amount_words}}) on or before the {{rent_due_day}} day of each month. All other payment terms related to the Original Lease, including but not limited to, payment methods and late payment penalties, shall remain in full force and effect.

Amendments to Original Lease

Except as expressly modified by this Extension Agreement, all other terms, covenants, and conditions of the Original Lease shall remain in full force and effect. Any clauses in the Original Lease that are not explicitly altered by this Extension Agreement shall continue to govern the relationship between the Landlord and Tenant.

Governing Law

This Lease Extension Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of {{country_or_province_of_governance}}.

Entire Agreement

This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the extension of the Original Lease and supersedes all prior discussions, negotiations, and agreements, whether oral or written.
